Sweden and Belgium were non qualifiers with televote; Israel won Semi Final 1 of Eurovision 2026

If the first semi final had been decided by 100% televotes – as was the case in the last few years – Sweden and Belgium would have been non qualifiers. Sweden’s Felicia scored only 17 televoting points and finished in 13th place there. Belgium came 14th in televoting with 10 points. Both entries were saved by the juries.
Israel became the winner of semi final 1. Noam Bettan finished 3rd in the jury vote with 106 points, and won the televote with 163 points with his song “Michelle”.
Estonia and Montenegro just miss out
Estonia’s Vanilla Ninja finished in 11th place over-all, twelve points behind Belgium. With 100% televoting, they would have qualified alongside Montenegro.
