JJ wins divided Eurovision Grand Final with record low points total

Austria has won the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest. Singer JJ took the trophy with his song “Wasted Love”. He won the Jury Vote and gathered enough televotes to maintain his top position in a very divided results ceremony.
Juries scattered their points around more than ever before, putting just two countries above the magic 200-point-barrier: Austria and Switzerland. Top favorite Sweden received 126 points from the juries and found itself already far behind.
Televoters were also divided, however they did provide two clear winners in Israel and Estonia, who then finished in 2nd and 3rd place in the overal results.
Due to the highly divided scores, Austria broke the record for lowest winner score since the current 100-100 voting system was introduced by EBU. “Wasted love” received 436 points in total.
