Junior ESC

The Junior Eurovision Song Contest (French: Concours Eurovision de la Chanson Junior) began back in 2003. The concept? Give young singers all over Europe the chance to sing, dance and show their talent on the big European stage.
The competition is based loosely on the framework of the Eurovision Song Contest. Each participating broadcaster, which represents its country of origin, submits a song between 2:30 and 2:45 from a singer who is aged 8 to 15 (has now changed to 10 to 15 years). The voting is the same as Eurovision; 12, 10 and then 8-1 points respectively to the most voted songs. Don’t worry, no participants will end up on nil points – each participants begins with 12 points!
